Important — Decals should only be applied to a completely clean and dry surface. Do not spray water, soap or application fluid underneath the decal during installation, as this can prevent the adhesive from bonding correctly and may cause lifting or peeling. Our decals are fully waterproof once installed, however the adhesive requires a dry surface and time to properly cure after application. For larger decals and windscreen banners, we recommend using the hinge method shown in the tutorial for the best alignment and adhesion. How to apply
Follow these steps to install your decal. For larger decals, use the hinge method — see the video above.
1.
Clean the surface using water or mild cleaner. Wipe it down thoroughly and allow the area to fully dry.
2.
Slowly peel the clear transfer tape with the decal away from the backing paper. Ensure decal stays attached to tape.
3.
Carefully position the decal onto the surface. Take your time to align it properly before applying any pressure.
4.
Use an applicator or card to gently smooth the decal onto the surface. Work from the centre to minimise air bubbles.
5.
Peel corner of transfer tape and slowly remove it on a sharp angle. Ensure the decal stays in place until removed.
